Welcome to the boatman's cottage Lustig in Kattkroken! The oldest parts of the croft are about 300 years old, so there is a lot of history in the walls. The croft is in the old style, but everything is fresh and renovated and you can live comfortably here. In the house there are sofas and a dining area and in the kitchen there is everything you need for cooking. In the croft there are two bedrooms. The large one has two single beds and a lovely space with high ceilings. There is also its own exit. In the small bedroom there is a single bed. Good to know is that it consists of four mattresses, so if there are more than three who want to stay, you can divide this bed in two. However, most suitable for children.

The garden is leafy and a lovely and large old oak tree means that you always have the opportunity to be in the shade during hot summer days. At the croft there is also a small patio. If you want to go on some sightseeing in the area, there are two bicycles to borrow.

Something you must not miss when you are in Kattkroken is to visit Mörrum and Kungsforsen. Laxens hus is the heart of the business, a cozy restaurant. During the fishing season, this is a natural gathering place and here the air is buzzing with fishing stories, tips and happy cries. For those of you who do not fish, it is also the most accessible area to see anglers and their struggle. Here you will find a sport fishing office, shop and an exhibition about Salmon's life and the history of fishing.

It is about eight kilometers to the sea and Karlshamn which is a really nice summer town! Here you can experience beautiful nature by the sea, forest or lake. Visit Eriksberg Vilt & Natur, Kreativum Science Center or the archipelago pearl Tjärö. There are lots of bathing places in the area, but the owners of the croft recommend Stärnö which has a nice sandy beach with jetty and a kiosk. For those who want to swim and fish in the lake, it is only a couple of kilometers from the cottage to a lake called Långasjön where you can fish for pike, perch, roach, bream etc. Here is an enchanting nature, ancient ruins, an unsurpassed tranquility and apparently the warmest bathing water in all of Blekinge.
