Stay romantically on an 18th-century farmhouse with its own jetty

As the sixth generation in the village of Gryttom, I am proud to rent my grandmother's old cottage to you. Lillstugan is for you who want to live completely unique in your own house in a cultural area, with horses on the farm and access to the secluded and own bridge. Do you love the proximity to adorable beautiful nature, hiking on trails or discovering your own paths and picking mushrooms. Do you appreciate having access to a small rowing boat and being able to take a dip in the lake. Do you also want to see plenty of culturally known places. We as a host couple are happy to show the farm, which has been restored according to old methods. In the immediate vicinity is the golf course (Arvika 4 min) and a canoe rental. Maybe you want to go to a farm auction and visit Klässbols Linneväveri - the list is endless of everything there is to do and see.

Lillstugan has two lovely beds (romantic double bed). One or two small children are also suitable. We can set an extra bed instead of the cot (it can be pulled out up to 140 cm). You have your own barbecue and private patio with views. You have 800 m to the pier and the rowing boat (can be driven almost all the way)

We have a living farm with horses and two Maine Coon cats and the neighbor has cows. The whole village is teeming with life where most people live and have animals. If you want to see game, there is a great chance to see deer, foxes, hares, moose, cranes, ducks and great crested grebes.

Brunskog is a circumscribed cultural area The community Edane is only 4 minutes from the cottage with an ICA Nära that is open every day. The cozy little town of Arvika has many nice cafes and a rich cultural offer. To Sunne with Mårbacka it takes about 1 hour over Fryksdalshöjden down to the beautifully situated in Fryksdalen which is well worth a day trip. Other:

About us We are crazy about horses, we like to spend time in the woods or in the garden. My husband and I have a common interest in restoring the farm according to traditional methods and are happy to share our knowledge of old houses. We as a host couple live on the farm ourselves and devote ourselves to horses, hiking, training and golf. We are happy to take you on a trip on some nice trail, with the horses or the golf course. If you are lucky, Mattias has baked his famous cardamom buns. We would like you to leave here with a fond memory for life from our completely magical countryside.
