Casa vacanze in Vårdnäs

This holiday home is a unique cottage set by lake Sätrasjön in beautiful Östergötland.

The cottage features an open-plan kitchen and living room, which opens onto the spacious terrace . The kitchen features the basic amenities, a dining table for four, and a beautiful view of the lake from the kitchen window. In the living room you will find a flatscreen TV, a comfortable sofa suite, and a coffee table. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a bunk bed for two. The terrace is all of 35 square metres and it has a beautiful view of the lake. There is outdoor furniture and sun loungers. There's a shower room which is separate from the WC-room.

The lake is only 200 metres from the cottage and this where you'll find the rowing boat that is included. You can buy a fishing license in town and fish for pike and bass. There's a child-friendly public beach about 100 metres from where the boat is docked. It's a small, sandy beach with bathing docks and grassy areas.

Östergötland is a lovely county with it's scenic nature and many lakes. Visit Brokind, which is only 5 kilometres away.Here you can rent kayaks and canoes. If you enjoy long walks in the countryside then you mustn't miss Östgötaleden ,a long path that takes you through forests and open landscapes, past villages and lakes.There are also several nature reserves in the area.

If you want to make daytrips there are many picturesque towns to visit, Åtvidaberg, Söderköping, and Västervik, to name a few. The town of Linköping offers shopping, restaurants, and events. It is 35 kilometres away.

Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby is another great destination that children enjoy. It's a one hour drive from your cottage. The nature reserve and zoo Kolmården is also about an hours drive away.
