Very nice wooden house from the 1850s. Renovated / modernized on a wonderful beach. Free electricity, free rowing and wonderful surroundings.
Here you will find beautiful old floors, a rough timber wall and handmade doors with old-fashioned doors that are all preserved and can be enjoyed today. The villa is carefully renovated and has a well equipped kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker and water kettle. When you stand and prepare the meal you have a view of the beach and the dam that makes lugn and attracts to afterthoughts. Maybe you see a rabbit walking by outside?
In the living room you can curl up on the couch with a good book or for a chat with a dear friend and feel the beautiful warmth from the fireplace.
Up to 6 people can live here. Maybe two families will go together and experience Astrid Lindgren's Småland, but it will also fit a couple or some good friends who want to have quality time. In the bedroom on the ground floor there is a double bed and in the attic there are 4 single beds. The stairs up to the ceiling are quite steep so if you have really small children or have problems with balance it is not recommended to use the overwatch.
The toilet is located in an adjoining hut on the plot. There is also a shower, washing machine and a delicious bastu.
In the garden there is a small beach and a pier, where there is a boat and guppar. It invites a fishing trip and with a little trip maybe you catch some abborre or gädda? Boat and fish the lake Dammen ingår the prize. If you don't like fishing, it's still nice to just calm down on the lugna dam, hear the fish slaughter, watch the seabirds or the kossorna that go as they go peacefully and better on the other side.
Around the garden there is a forest where children have already started building huts, maybe there will be another hut or maybe a new castle or city after you have been there?! Maybe your child will see a playful squirrel jump from tree to tree. For adults who are tired of playing in the pools, there are plenty of lingonberries, blueberries and mushrooms in the fields around Sofiero as well as the possibility of wonderful forest walks or jogging trips.
Sofiero has a unique medicine. Here you can get just the peace you need after a year with a lot of stress, noise and times to pass. There is no buller or oil here, however, so it feels good about birds during spring and summer and you often wake up to a beautiful chorus of different birds in the morning. You live very close to the healing and soothing nature.
