Great holiday home in rural surroundings

Perfect, for example, for families who would like to spend their holiday on a working farm. There are lambs, hens and cats here. The price is very attractive, and internet and electricity are included free of charge.

Welcome to this working farm. You will be staying on the same grounds as the farm owner, who lives here with his three children in their twenties. Here, you can get close to sheep and lambs, pet a cat and feed the hens. The owner’s family grows vegetables, and during the season you can, if you wish, buy cucumbers, tomatoes, potatoes and other produce that the summer has to offer.

The house has been partly renovated and accommodates up to 7 people. There are 7 sleeping places in total, 2 of which are on a sofa bed, while the others are single beds; one of the beds is a junior bed. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 of which can be closed off with a door. The 3rd bedroom is open towards the living/dining area.

The house is located in a very beautiful area rich in lakes in the Småland highlands. The summers here are warm – a deluxe summer experience. The springs are lovely, autumn is full of mushrooms and berries, and the winters are often reliably snowy.

The holiday home has a large bathroom with toilet and shower, as well as a guest toilet with a washbasin. Bed linen and towels are NOT included in the price, but can be added for SEK 150 per person. Final cleaning can also be added for SEK 1,000.

There is a gazebo on the farm that you are welcome to use, and there is also a barbecue. Some bicycles are available, which you may borrow, provided that the previous guests have returned them in usable condition.

There are plenty of nature experiences right around the corner. Enjoy wonderful hikes along the Höglandsleden trail to Tomtabacken, the highest point in Småland. Or why not take a walk in the very beautiful Vikskvarn area?

It is approx. 300 metres to Lake Ekelsjösjön. The nearest bathing beach, suitable for smaller children, is 3 km from the house. If you would like to visit a larger swimming area with a diving tower, café, etc., it is approx. 5 km away. You can rent a boat from the owner’s neighbour, who usually rents out a rowing boat at a low price. There are good opportunities to catch pike and perch both from land and from a boat. A fishing permit costs approx. SEK 25 per day.
