Holiday cottage in Nordbøen, 12 km from Førde town centre. The view of a large fishing lake and the mountains is an impressive and calming sight at the same time. In the lake you can catch trout, normally 200 gram but also 300-400 gram. The house was originally built in 1920 and has a lot of character to it.

The kitchen and bathroom was new in 2008. The kitchen is small, but with smart solutions. The double bed in the attic is 180 cm wide, and the beds on the 1st floor are 150 cm and a 120 cm wide. Additionally, there is an extra single bed in the attic. The stairway to the loft is steep. Up here the roof is pitched. The water in the house is not suited for drinking, but the owner will supply you with fresh drinking water. The water can be used for showering and other uses.

You live close to the unique Fosseheimen with 50 water falls along the 21 km long trail Fossestien. Follow the trail along a roaring river. This area is famous for its trout – the record for rod catch is 12,5 kilos in the lake Jølstravatnet! If you are looking for an active holiday, there are numerous options in the area like hiking, rafting, fishing, museums, fjord cruises, glacier walks, etc. Or you can just relax in the inflatable jacuzzi in the yard, fish for trout in the nearby lake (the boat is 100 meters from the house) or stroll along the pathways by the cottage. Here you can really experience the recreation you deserve!
